Yet another delicious dish!
Seriously - cooking is my most favorite pastime lately. Well that and knitting! I am really turning into a grandma. If only my own Grandma was this fun! Here is yet another recipe that is so simple and easy and scrumptious. We cut it in half to 5 servings, the recipe below is for 10, however if you are ever entertaining, this would be the perfect soup to have on hand - it is very filling.

Rich French Onion Soup
6 large onions chopped
1/2 cup butter or margarine
6 cans(10.5 ounces each) condensed beef broth, undiluted
1.5 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
3 bay leaves
10 slices french bread toasted
shredded parmesan and mozzarella cheeses

In a large skillet, sauté onions in butter until crisp-tender. Transfer to an ungreased 5 qt slow cooker. Add the broth, worcestershire sauce and bay leaves. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until the onions are tender. Discard bay leaves. Top each serving with French bread and cheeses.

Seriously - that is it! If I had realized that french onion soup was this easy, I would have been making it years ago!
